The Mission

Our mission at ParticiPay is to improve event attendance by offering free attendance for participants who show up and implementing fines for those who don't. We aim to reduce no-shows, making events more sustainable and estimations easier for organizers. We also want to motivate participants to attend by applying a financial incentive. In case they don't show-up, the deposit is donated to charity.

The Challenge

ParticiPay provides a ticketing platform where participants reserve tickets for free by committing to a refundable deposit. When they attend the event, they receive their deposit back, making the event truly free. For those who do not show up, the deposit is donated to charity or covers for the unnecessary costs. This system motivates participants to honor their commitments, reduces no-shows, and improves the overall event experience while giving back to the community.
