The Mission

The mission of Emergency AI is to guide non-critical patients in the most effective way through the health care process by acting as a personal healthcare assistant powered by AI technology, using only information provided by certified health experts and hospital.

The Challenge

Emergency rooms in hospitals face issues related to shortages in staff and an increasing amount non-critical patient visits that could have been helped elsewhere. As a result, hospitals are dealing with long waiting times resulting into danger for critical patients, violence towards staff and other patients which increase the pressure on our health care system.

The solution

The first step in this process in assessing where a patient should go based on a short online screening. The second step is automating communication with the nearest or selected hospital as well as an appointment booking tool. Thirdly, alternative solutions can be provided when emergency room visits are not advised by health professionals such as general practitioners, online health services or other care centers available nearby. This will be done through a user-friendly app or website offering a communicational dashboard for users but also for healthcare workers which will inform them with user data such as arrival times, symptoms which will help them with patient treatments in an effective way.
