The Mission

We address the increasing frustration of people when it comes to online dating by offering a dating platform that differentiates itself from the existing ones. Instead of providing a platform designed for people to get to know each other online, which is often a very frustrating experience, this app is designed to bring the dating experience back to the real world. Online dating often leads to hours of swiping without any positive experience. Moreover, the expectations about the other person arising from the online contact often differ from the impression when having the first date in person. By offering an app that brings the dating experience back to the real world, combining it with fun activities tailored to the users' interests, users not only get to meet people in real life as they truly are but also connect with those who share similar interests. Furthermore, this prevents the problem of couples lacking a cute story about how they met and often feeling ashamed to say that they met online, as well as the issue of not having ideas for a first date.

The Challenge

People spend hours upon hours on their phone hoping to find their soulmate. However, the current online dating platforms are not designed to make you find the right person, otherwise they would lose money. We want to have a platform so people can meet in person. In-person meetings are more personal and give you a better insight into the other person rather than just looking at texts on an app. With our platform, people might find their future love or friends with the same interests.

The solution

A platform that promotes in-person social events focused on hobbies and activities, providing singles with opportunities to meet organically through shared interests. This platform would recommend personalized events, such as fitness classes, art workshops, or outdoor adventures, helping users foster real-world connections in a relaxed, group setting.
