We are looking for new team members with the following skill(s)

We are looking for team members with a strong background in business development, marketing, or sales — ideally with experience in the Dutch market and fluent in Dutch. At this early stage, we need support in customer discovery, communication strategy, and building partnerships with local breweries. Having someone with commercial insight and local cultural understanding would significantly strengthen our ability to connect with potential clients, refine our value proposition, and scale the project from concept to market.

The Mission

BrewNova’s mission is to enable breweries to become more self-sufficient and environmentally responsible by providing them with tailor-made, plug-and-play systems that upcycle their organic waste into renewable energy (electricity, heat, and CO₂) and nutrient-rich biofertilizer. By integrating sustainable technology directly into their operations, we help breweries reduce costs, lower emissions, and generate additional value from their by-products — making circularity accessible and profitable.

The Challenge

Small and medium-sized breweries generate a large amount of organic by-products, such as spent grain and yeast, which are often donated to local farmers. While this disposal method is low-cost, it requires storage space, logistics, and doesn't create direct value for the brewery. These by-products are underutilized — they hold significant potential to be converted into renewable energy and valuable biofertilizer. Breweries lack accessible, scalable solutions to turn this waste into economic and environmental gains, such as reducing their own energy bills or generating additional revenue.

The solution

Our solution is a modular, on-site valorization system tailored for small and medium-sized breweries. It transforms brewing residues — primarily spent grain — into biogas and biofertilizer through anaerobic digestion. The biogas can be used in different ways depending on the brewery’s needs: it can be converted into electricity, used directly for heating (e.g. in the brewing process), or upgraded and sold to biogas distributors. The nutrient-rich digestate can be applied as an agricultural biofertilizer, either for local use or as an additional revenue stream. This solution not only minimizes waste handling and storage costs but also helps breweries reduce energy expenses and improve sustainability — turning what was once a passive byproduct into a profitable asset. Future system upgrades may include separation and specialized treatment of digestate fractions for enhanced nutrient recovery and tailored fertilizer products.
